Once constrictor responses had

reached a stable plateau, relaxation was studied by constructing cumulative concentration–response curves to CPA or ACh in the continued presence of arsenite. These curves were generally completed within ∼60 min so that total cumulative exposure to arsenite was 90 min and 150 min in the two protocols.
